Dear Bob,

    Thanks for the invitation during today's meeting to write to you
regarding ARDC's efforts and youth outreach, particularly for
under-represented communities. I've tried to put together some words
(rather quickly) with some specific ideas; please see the attached
document. I've taken the liberty of copying a couple of others who were
active in the chat during the meeting.

    This isn't precisely a grant request, but a list of ideas, and I should
say that I'm in uncharted waters even with bringing these up. I hope that
they come across with the sense of both humility and gratitude I felt
typing them, as I'm aware that ARDC is already doing great work in this
area, and I'm also aware that I'm not aware of everything that ARDC is
doing: these ideas may be way off base. I will appreciate any feedback and
would love to know your thoughts on how best to proceed.

    Thank you! I think it's wonderful what ARDC is doing for the amateur
