I fully agree with your point 2. What is the best way to progress the space
segment, start pulling together a system level definition on the github
space repository?

I have experience doing satellite design at a top nanosatellite
manufacturer plus ESA project tech R&D at the IC design level so I can hit
the ground running but also don't want to clash with other work you may
have done.
