[Ground-station] Lime LMS8001a Companion Board

Here are my results from testing the LMS8001a Companion Board as a 5.6
GHz to 755 MHz down converter. I'm using an indirect method to evaluate
phase noise by using a 64QAM CATV demodulator. The setup is Ettus B210
-> down converter -> 64QAM demodulator. All tests were done with an
external 5 volt power supply as recommended by Lime.

Here's the LMS8001a.

Here's the Kuhne 5.6 GHz down converter.

Kuhne phase noise

Very similar. I'd have to say the LMS8001 is doing a pretty good job.
Unfortunately, I can't tell how much phase noise is from the B210 and
how much is from the down converter.

There are a lot of spurs though. Here's with the 64QAM signal at 755 MHz.

spurs with signal

And without the 64QAM signal. No change.

without signal

Zoomed in. Looks like there's a spur every 20 MHz. The reference clock
is 40 MHz.
