Interested in technical aspects of RISC-V?

This looks to be the first of a series of sessions about technical aspects
of RISC-V.

We are community members of RISC-V. If you want to attend, please register.

Hello RISC-V Members!

We are pleased to announce the establishment of the *RISC-V Technical
Sessions program*. This program is intended to connect technical leaders
who either worked on or are working on RISC-V ISA or Non-ISA specifications
with technical members.

*These are not tutorials nor are they Task Group meetings!*

The intended audience are technical members who are either just beginning
to learn about a topic or who are not part of a Task group and want to
learn about the topic and how it may interact with what they are working
on. Issues that require Task Group actions will be taken offline and
resolved in the Task Group.

The speaker will get to present for 15 minutes and then we will open the
floor for discussion and questions (it can be adjusted accordingly, but
discussions are the key element of the sessions). This program is all about
interactions. We hope some attendees will decide to join our Task groups.

We are very excited about this new program and hope you get to learn
something from it.

*Our first Technical Session is on February 2nd, 7 am Pacific Time to learn
more about N-Trace for RISC-V*.

N-Trace (Nexus IEEE 5001 based trace) is approaching ratification and will
provide yet another tool to advance the adoption of the RISC-V
architecture. This presentation on N-Trace will explain the requirement and
discuss key N-Trace features like control, compression and trace streaming
used to address the ecosystem debugging, verification and performance
measurement requirements.

*Speaker:* Robert Chyla, Senior Staff Engineer at SiFive.
