Issue on Aerospace
To: Ali Abedi <abedi at ieee.org>, Manos Tentzeris <etentze at ece.gatech.edu>
Greetings,
It is our great pleasure to invite you to submit an expanded version of
your WiSEE 2018 paper to the upcoming special issue of IEEE Journal of RFID
for Aerospace that I am co-editing with Prof. Manos Tentzeris. Recent
advances in Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) enabled a myriad of
applications including asset tracking, sensing, and navigation. This
special issue covers topics related to applications of RFID in aerospace
including, but not limited to, the following:
- Applications of RFID in autonomous logistics management
- Wireless sensing using RFIDs coupled with sensors
- Navigation and tracking using RFID tags
- RFID materials for harsh environments
- Aerospace specific use cases of RFID
- Security and privacy of RFIDs
- Big data analytics for RFIDs
For submission guidelines and more info, please refer to the attached Call
for papers. Submission deadline is within a month on Feb 15, 2019.
Best Regards,
-- Ali
