
<html>I'm using Rattlegram v1.5 with stock settings. I bought the BTECH APRS-K2 cable (like what was mentioned in one of the videos on the Ribbit site). I used it with my iPhone along with the Apple Lightning headphone adapter. When I first plugged in my headphone adapter I selected "other device" in the "headphone or other device?" pop-up. I had volume set to ~50% on the phone.<br /><br />My setup looked like this (arrow direction denotes plug direction)::<br /><br />iPhone <-- Lightning headphone adapter <-- APRS-K2 --> HT<br /><br />I tried it on my UV-5R and it kept the PTT on no matter which VOX level I used. I quickly gave up and tried my Anytone AT-D878UVII PLUS where it worked perfectly with VOX set to a value of 1. I sent my message over UHF at 1 Watt and was able to receive it easily on my mobile unit with another iPhone sitting in front of the speaker.<br /><br />William KV2B</html>
