It's an HF mode, but the team has made a lot of investment into VARA and also wants to move up in frequency. <br><br>It's clear that some of the previous emails about IMS2023 never made it out to all of the SoCal microwave lists. I know we've had a lot of challenges with email reflectors and distribution over the past year. These difficulties seem to have been resolved. <br><br>I'll do all I can to make this a fun and rewarding event for anyone wanting to join the volunteer crew. <br><br>Want to be part of this event? At all. <br><br>I'm here to help you show off your work at an event that has been super friendly to ham radio for many years and has been back in-person as of 2021. <br><br>Those of you that have worked with me at ARRL, GNU Radio, Maker Faire, and IEEE events know I have your back and make it fun.<br><br>Maybe it's COVID, maybe it's Maybelline, but I'm here for all of you and so far have not gotten the interest I expected. <br><br>I *very much* want to show off your work, your rig, and your practical radio expertise. <br><br>A table at the ham radio social for CACTUS? Sure, why not? <br><br>A table for contesters to show off your rig? Yes, we can do that. <br><br>Contests on site? Demonstrations? Yes, we can do that. The venue is outdoors, spacious, and is right near the water. <br><br>Please get in touch. San Diego is a super fun place for this conference.
