Subject: [Ground-station] GEO tests?

I’m thinking about privately funding “Rent-a-GEO” and moving forward with GEO transmission tests for ORI.

This project got turned down for funding by FEMA (very reluctantly) and ARDC (this was a very painful rejection given the growing QO-100 gap).

But, watching M17 get support from ESA for a more rudimentary and extremely short test, and getting repeated renewed requests from North America, and having some sincere energy and offers of real hardware from the for-profit sector…

Maybe it’s time to simply make it happen, and hope it’s not ruinously expensive.

Comments and critique? Where else to apply?
