So far we have just written some test routines on our own that run on ChibiOS that sits on top of a STM32F446. <p>I'd be interested to see the design /code for SC rig with the
AX5043 chip. I have similar goals of implementing various radios
(balloons, satellite, etc.) using this device (the PSK and HDLC
features make it enticing). Are there plans for posting any of
the code or schematics for this? I know Jonathan Brandenburg has
done a lot in this area already
(<a class="m_5895796994104636167moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://github.com/BrandenburgTech/DigitalTxRxRPi" target="_blank">https://github.com/BrandenburgTech/DigitalTxRxRPi</a>), but more
public code sounds good to me!<br>
</p>
<p>My biggest concern at the moment with these chips is that
individuals are not available on Mouser or Digikey, Mouser has
reels of 3000 available and the product is marked EOL. Other
documentation suggest this is just a 'hiccup' as they transition
from one manufacturing house to another, but its hard to get
started playing with these if 1) i can't get my hands on small
quantities and 2) not confident yet that they will be readily
available in small quantities long term...............I hunted
around and couldn't find a similar device with all the same
features.......so I'm hoping the new stuff shows up on
Mouser/Digikey soon.....<br>
