The Deep Space Exploration Society will hold their 8th Annual Open House on
Saturday, September 16 starting at 9 AM, at the Paul Plishner Radio
Astronomy and Space Sciences Center, 9301 County Rd 20, Haswell CO 81045.
DSES Board Member, Paul Sobon, NO0T, will be heading up this year’s event
that will include demonstrations of the 60 parabolic dish antenna,
hopefully conditions permitting, bouncing signals off the moon.  Tours of
the new building facility still under construction, demonstration of the
remote HF/VHF amateur radio station and viewing the skies with optical
telescopes including viewing the sun looking for sunspots.  Please see the
