Greetings all!

Our FPGA Meetup video recording can be found at
https://youtu.be/WYGrXKH_a4Q?si=FvFwl2bdyU4W9NTo

Thank you to ORI Lab Tech Three for annotating with jump links. She's also
working on the NiCd battery curve analysis project. This documents work
that created very high performance battery packs for early AMSAT payloads.
We saw some excellent performance, had some chatter and rumor, and repeated
the measurements in Remote Lab West. The goal is to select appropriate
cells to make batteries that endure harsh conditions.

Thank you to Remote Labs West lead Paul Williamson and ORI Lab Tech One,
KK6OOZ, for figuring out how to take the measurements and then carrying out
a large amount of data collection and recording.

Our Lab Techs are student interns at ORI. ORI Lab Tech Two presented in the
meeting recording about progress at Remote Labs South.

If you're interested in learning more about this educational support
program, please write the board of ORI at hello at openresearch.institute

Part of the linked meeting recording addressed how OFDM links, like what
are used in the Neptune project, handle narrowband interference. Thank you
to Tilak for asking about RRC filtering of OFDM, which inspired the
discussion.

If you'd like to be more involved with this and other work mentioned in the
meeting, then please check in on Slack.

If you're not on Slack, then you can be.

Thank you to everyone out there that is helping us do ambitious work! We
deeply appreciate your support.
