Greetings all!
IMS2023 (International Microwave Symposium, an IEEE conference) is in full
swing here in San Diego. I’m an organizer and chair of the amateur radio
events. We expect to have a really nice social tomorrow evening at The
Pointe at Bayfront Hilton and we will be part of the STEM track on
Thursday.
Several local amateur enthusiasts will bring their contesting rigs for the
social. ORI will have displays and demonstrations. I have some very nice
microwave-themed FCC spectrum charts from the FCC Dynamic Spectrum
Allocation working group and ARRL will be represented as well.
Thank you to everyone that contributed posters for IMS2023, including
Ribbit, RFBitBanger, our Regulatory Team, and our dual band feed folks.
No FPGA/Office Hours tomorrow, but we will plan to resume next week.
Please visit Slack for IMS2023 discussion and materials.
