What's been going on?

DEFCON ORI Open Source Showcase at RF Village was a huge success,
RFBitBanger kit launched, Ribbit ARRL Technical Innovation Award received,
NSF meeting happened, FCC TAC final report was presented to the commission,
Dumbbell Antenna build began, a launch opportunity was received, polyphase
filter progress happened on Haifuraiya, Neptune moved forward, and there
were more FPGA inquiries...
