Greetings all!

Below is the mail from Cubesats Developers Workshop about our application
about our ITAR/EAR work. If you can help with this poster session, then
your time and effort will be greatly appreciated. Please help if you can.

Bruce Perens made the initial application for a talk. CDW accepted the
proposal as a poster.

Unfortunately, since then, Bruce has suffered what appears to be a mental
and physical breakdown. Please be especially kind in your dealings with
him. He had had serious health problems. Pull your punches.

We are going to take over the poster submission from him, so that our work
can be represented at Cubesat Developers Workshop. The event will be in
April 2022. CDW has been informed.

However - we need to get a poster done and delivered.

Write or call me and let's turn an unhappy situation into a good one.

Hello ORI,

Unfortunately, due to the high volume of submissions, your abstract titled “A
DoD and Commerce-Approved ITAR/EAR-Free Legal Framework for Open Source
Satellites” was not selected for a presentation, but we would like to give
you the opportunity to present your research through a poster. If you are
interested in providing a poster presentation, please confirm with us, at
the latest by 11:59 PM Pacific Time on Friday, February 25th, 2022.

On top of a physical poster, this year we will also display posters virtually
on a dedicated poster webpage. Instructions on how to upload the contents
for the poster presentations will be provided at a later date. Please also
upload your poster to our CubeSat Poster Dropbox
<https://www.dropbox.com/request/hkuGB3iE5tNxHe0oJCgQ> latest by 11:59 PM
Pacific Time on Friday, April 15th, 2022. When submitting the poster,
please make sure to name the file “Your First Last Name” (e.g., “Jane
Smith”).

Additionally, we would like to offer you the opportunity to be placed on
our alternates list for the abstract presentations. There is a possibility
of being part of the programming as we continue to finalize the schedule.
Due to this possibility, we ask that you upload your presentation (either
.PDF OR .PPTX) to our CubeSat Developers Workshop Dropbox here

Pacific Time on Friday, April 15th, 2022. When submitting the presentation,
please make sure to name the file “Your First Last Name” (e.g. “Jane
Smith”).

There are a few options regarding printing posters:

   1.

Bring your poster preprinted. If you are traveling with it rolled up, we
can add rigidity by placing it on top of a cardboard backing. Size
   should be 3ft x 4ft.
   2.

To print your poster on campus, please contact ugs at calpoly.edu. They
tend to have the most reasonable pricing and you can retrieve them on
   campus.
   3.

Print your poster through the local UPS in San Luis Obispo by using this
   link.
