Let's talk about Ham Expo in September. This is a virtual event and they’ve
been very supportive of work done at ORI.

The next Ham Expo is in September 2022, and they have a new function -
posters!

So, if a pre-recorded talk is not the right fit, then the poster session
might be something that works for you and your work.

We have an ITAR/EAR regulatory poster, the AAAAA poster, and one from
Ribbit. You can find out more and see drafts of all of these posters on our
Slack. The ITAR/EAR poster is linked from our website, the draft AAAAA
poster is in the #aaaaa channel, and the Ribbit poster is in the #ribbit
channel.

It might be too early to do one about the sounding rocket efforts. Both
teams will produce a lot of presentations in the future.

Previous presentations about the very nice encoder (downlink) work were
done just 6 months ago at the last Ham Expo, but there were a lot of steps
forward with implementations on the PLUTO. Those presentations were at
Friedrichshafen.

We will present Opulent Voice, which is our uplink protocol. We anticipate
the initial demonstrations will happen just a month prior to Ham Expo, at
DEFCON.

We also have some cell matching curves work. This will be presented at Ham
Expo by students. This is the work we're doing to revive/document previous
good practices for battery pack creation.

Please think about what you’d like to see highlighted at Ham Expo and I’ll
do whatever I can to make it easy to participate.
